The Bomet Upus Z656 is a one-row conveyor potato digger mounted on the tractor's three-point linkage and driven by the tractor PTO.
The potato ridge is undercut by the share and the material is then transferred onto the screening conveyor. The movement and shaking of the conveyor break up the ridge and allow soil to fall through the conveyor rods, while the lifted tubers are carried towards the rear of the machine.
A specially shaped discharge grid directs the dug potatoes onto the ridge behind the machine.
