Bobnasta kosilnica ACMA KB165 je zasnovana za košnjo visoke trave z manjšimi in srednje velikimi traktorji moči od 30 do 80 KM. Z večjo delovno širino 165 cm omogoča hitrejše delo na večjih površinah, pri tem pa ohranja stabilnost in natančnost košnje tudi na razgibanem terenu. Uporabna je na travnikih, pašnikih in hribovitih območjih, kjer je pomembno dobro kopiranje tal in enakomeren odkos pri različnih delovnih hitrostih.
Konstrukcija temelji na dveh bobnih, ki zagotavljata zanesljiv rez in enakomerno polaganje pokošene mase. Pogon poteka preko kardanske gredi, prenos moči pa je izveden s tremi samozateznimi jermeni, ki med delom samodejno vzdržujejo pravilno napetost. Tak sistem zmanjšuje obrabo pogonskih elementov in zagotavlja stabilno delovanje tudi pri večjih obremenitvah.
Mehansko varovanje ščiti kosilnico ob stiku z ovirami ter preprečuje poškodbe pogonskega sklopa. Močno tritočkovno vpetje omogoča stabilen priklop na traktor in varno delo na neravnih površinah.
